Shane Valdez is a financial advisor with New York Life and Eagle Strategies, where he helps individuals, families, and business owners build financial confidence and create strategies aligned with their goals and values.

Born in Southern California and raised in Orange County, Shane earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he competed on the wrestling team and became a three-time NCAA All-American. He later spent more than 20 years coaching youth and high school wrestling, mentoring young athletes and helping them develop discipline, confidence, and character.

As an Ambassador for the Placentia Chamber of Commerce, Shane enjoys connecting with local business leaders, welcoming new members, and supporting a strong and vibrant business community.

Outside of his professional and community involvement, Shane enjoys writing and is preparing to publish his first fiction novel later this year. He and his wife will celebrate 25 years of marriage this summer and are proud parents of two children who are both currently attending college.

Shane is honored to serve as a Chamber Ambassador and looks forward to building meaningful relationships that help local businesses and the community thrive.
